The perfect tool to reach the performance

Whenever dealing with aerospace or defense vehicles, a test is always costly and must be accomplished in a short time window. From The R&D stage to the in-field measurement, OROS analyzers will offer you the highest performance for the most reliable measurements.

Example of Application

In-flight acquisition

Bring your 32-channel OR38 or your 16-channel Mobi-Pack for fast measurement in flight with you! Check out this new way to measure: With the Data recorder/Real-time multianalyzer, you have the choice to do easy measurement.

  • Load your project in your analyzer
  • Start the measurement on stand-alone mode using the remote controller and powering through the AC/DC power supply
  • Bring your data from the Mobi-Disk
  • Post-analyze from your office

Even under a high vibration level, the OROS system guarantee the best measurement.

Modal test on the structure

Modal analysis is widely used in the aerospace and defense industry. OROS Modal 2 is an easy and fast solution using the latest algorithms for better measurements. Using multiples modules, OROS Modal 2 will cover most of the jobs, even for very high number of channels.

  • Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA) for acquiring FRF from a signal generator. With unique features such as Advanced Swept Sine solution for closed-loop control, you can save time to get a high resolution FRF measurement.
  • Operation Deflection Shape (ODS) for visualizing quickly the deformation of your structure at a specific frequency or at a specific moment.

OROS Modal 2 has the capability to use the natural excitation which is very useful for big complete  structure where other methods are not possible.

Engines Test Benches

The validation of a variety of aircraft engines requires powerful instrumentation able to record and analyze up to hundreds of channels during long duration tests. OROS offers a high channel count solution called VibeMaster. This innovative and performant system is suitable for such installations carrying out continuous time domain recording with order and spectral analysis up to a 40 kHz bandwidth.

The real-time computation ensures the synchronous orders and spectra calculation to be visualized in flexible and interactive graphs. During the entire test, all the data are secured by periodic storage and automatic log file generation. Connected by a single Ethernet link, the equipment dramatically reduces the cabling between the control room and the unit under test.
