The Mobi-Disk™ |
|
|

OROS introduces the first removable disk for a Noise & Vibration analyzer: the Mobi-Disk™.
This rugged 60GB disk gives an unprecedented flexibility and power to the OROS 3-Series analyzers. For the first time it is now possible to use the analyzer as a real data recorder, without being connected to a PC. The Mobi-Disk™ is inserted in its slot in the analyzer for recording, and can be removed and connected directly to the USB port of a PC for analysis and data storage.
When the PC is not suited with the environment or the application, it is even possible to record without the PC, in Stand Alone mode. The Mobi-Disk™ is ideal for in-vehicle tests, in-flight tests, machine health monitoring, and any situation where it is desired to easily manipulate large amounts of data.
The Mobi-Disk™ comes as standard with OR36 (16 channels) and OR38 (32 channels). Ordering extra disks allows you to assign disks to individual projects, making file management easier.

Can Bus Interface/Data Acquisition |
|
|

The CAN bus interface/data acquisition comes as an option of the version 2 of the OR36 and OR38 multi-analyzers/recorders. It is a combined hardware and software option.
The CAN bus interface is composed of: - An acquisition board, integrated in the OR36 or OR38,
- A high speed serial cable (1 or 5 m),
- A CAN-Probe with impedance adaptation.
Applications: - In-vehicle testing
- Automotive supplier component test
- Power plant device maintenance and monitoring
- Parameters acquisition on machining optimization
NVGate®, the software platform for the OROS 3-Series analyzers accommodates the CAN interface and its data acquisition option.

Power Flexibility |
|
|

OROS analyzers provide more flexibility.
OROS analyzers integrate batteries (NiMh) as standard, providing autonomy and un-interruptible measurements. Additional batteries expand the autonomy of the instrument. These external batteries basically double the analyzer autonomy and the hot swap capability
